Steele Hotels
St. John’s, NL
The newly built boutique hotel in downtown St. John’s draws on traditional architecture to create a contemporary four and a half star hotel. The building borders the active port and historic downtown of the city. We chose for the building to have a masonry base which represents the industrial area. Reminiscent of St. John’s housing the building has playful colourful volumes which serve to break down the scale. The hotel contains 84 rooms that range from single rooms to full suites. Amenities include a restaurant, gym and underground parking.
